Specialising in country guitar styles, UK based Andy Saphir has been gigging and teaching as a professional guitarist for 20 years.

A pro player of all contemporary styles, Andy graduated from London’s prestigious ‘Guitar Institute’ with a distinction in 1995, and went on to establish himself as one of the UK country music scene’s top guitar players.

Andy has and enjoyed a busy touring schedule for many years, performing guitar duties in many different bands and touring shows both in the UK and internationally, including The Blues Brothers (approved and licensed by Ackroyd/Belushi) and has worked with artists as diverse as Michael Twitty (son of country legend, Conway) and X Factor finalist and ‘2 Shoes’ singer, Charley Bird. Andy teaches guitar at the top London music college ICMP (formally The Guitar Institute) and also has a monthly column in the number one guitar tuition magazine, Guitar Techniques.
